Rider Bios

The sixth rider to be announced for Sarnia's first ever WAKE-up Call is:
JONO BOYSEN

I had the opportunity to ask Jono a few questions, here they are:

1. Name:
- Jono Boysen, some people call me Juno, if I hear that I will turn into the Hulk and destory city's

2. Age:
-Legal

3. Born:
- I was born in a bed I believe the sheets were white some where in the GTA

4. Sponsors:
-Oakley, Byerly Boards, X-cel wet suits, Pop'School Lake of Bays.

5. Spend most of your time:
- I spend most of my time driving, flying, riding.

6. Favourite place to ride:
- Fav spot to ride right now is T.O, all time spot would be secret lake and of course Sandy Lake.

7. What is your most memorable moment at a competition?
-When I landed a kickflip that was the coolest feeling

8. List some of your achievements
-06 national champ
-Crew challenge champ's 4 years in a row
-qualifying for toe jam back in the day
-getting the pro invite for wakestock
-throwing a pig skin a quarter mile

9. What are some of the goals you set for yourself?
-I have many goals, some like... okay Jono lets learn how to fly a plane by 2010, ( I just thought of that one yesterday) or another one would be lets make enough money to buy a house on the lake so I can ride everyday after work. I think the goal I have going for me right now at this very moment is to try and roll out of bed and get the day started.

10. What do you hope to achieve in 2008?
- In 2008 I will be focusing on developing the national wakeskating team and plan on judging the 2008 nationals to make sure that they are properly judges and everyone gets a fair chance to make the team, good luck gents.

11. What is the most difficult trick you feel you have stomped?
-Front lips
-Hardest I've stomped would be some of the dam drops

12. What setup do you currently ride?
- Shredding the 39 Byerly Legacy.
